This app provides a straightforward method to guide your telescope to specific targets. Notably, it offers a simple and distinct approach.

 <li>Your phone does not have to be directed towards the sky and can be placed in any orientation, relieving strain on your back and neck.</li>
 <li>To use the app, your phone must be affixed to your telescope, for instance with Bluetac or a tieback.</li>

How Does It Work?

<ol>
 <li>Aim your telescope at a bright star in the sky, ensuring it is visible in the eyepiece.</li>
 <li>Select the same bright star from a list within the app.</li>
 <li>Tap the "Align" button. The app will then calibrate accurately within that area of the sky (within 10 degrees) and provide you with a list of nearby objects of interest.</li>
</ol>

 <li>Desire a quick and brief sky observation, such as a 10-minute session.</li>
 <li>Prefer not to deal with phone camera setup or telescope alignment.</li>

The app does not rely on a phone camera to direct users to specific targets. It necessitates aligning with a bright star through the telescope for accurate target location. Users should possess some familiarity with prominent stars. The app features catalogs for Messier objects, Caldwell objects, and top NGC objects. It enables quick targeting of planets, nebulae, or galaxies through manual alignment to a nearby bright star.

The app utilizes your location to establish the sky model and aligns with your telescope for precise pointing capability. Swift realignment is necessary when targeting different areas of the sky.
