This app provides a straightforward method to guide your telescope to specific targets. Notably, it offers a simple and distinct approach.

• The app operates without the need for a phone camera.
• Your phone does not have to be directed towards the sky and can be placed in any orientation, relieving strain on your back and neck.
• To use the app, your phone must be affixed to your telescope, for instance with Bluetac or a tieback.

How Does It Work?

1. Aim your telescope at a bright star in the sky, ensuring it is visible in the eyepiece.
2. Select the same bright star from a list within the app.
3. Tap the "Align" button. The app will then calibrate accurately within that area of the sky (within 10 degrees) and provide you with a list of nearby objects of interest.

Who Can Benefit from This App? It is tailored for amateur astronomers who:

1. Desire a quick and brief sky observation, such as a 10-minute session.
2. Prefer not to deal with phone camera setup or telescope alignment.
3. Want to avoid awkwardly bending over to use their phone by attaching it along the telescope tube.

It enables quick targeting of planets, nebulae, or galaxies through manual alignment to a nearby bright star.
